Pakistan is not thinking about anything other than defeating Bangladesh

Goodbye if you lose, fate will hang in the balance if you win. Then you have to hope for something miraculous. Bangladesh-Pakistan stands at the same point in T20 World Cup. The two teams face each other in their final match of the Super Twelve stage tomorrow morning in Adelaide, aiming to match the 'almost impossible' tie.

Bangladesh-Pakistan has equal 4 points after playing four matches in Group 2. However, being ahead in the overall run rate, Pakistan is in the third position in the list, while Bangladesh is in the fourth position.

Tomorrow morning they have to win their own match, before that the Netherlands has to beat South Africa in the morning. Or this match will be abandoned. However, if South Africa wins, Zimbabwe will have to wait. Bangladesh-Pakistan can make it to the semi-finals only if the Zimbabweans beat India. There is also a run rate calculation.

But as Pakistan beat South Africa by a big margin in their last match, they don't have to think about the run rate. If they win against Bangladesh tomorrow and if any of the teams between South Africa and India are 'victims', Pakistan will be confirmed in the last four.

Shan Masud also knows that the semifinals are not in their hands now. However, the 33-year-old batsman wants to finish his work by defeating Bangladesh.
Masood, who became Pakistan's representative at the pre-match press conference in Adelaide today, said, "The team's focus is now on the Bangladesh match. Our goal is to pick up two points. We only have this issue in our hands. We are optimistic until the last ball of the last match of the group.

Pakistan had reached the brink of the abyss after losing their first two matches. Even if we win the next two matches, Masood is giving himself the responsibility of complicating the equation, 'even if we win two matches, we are not in the top two of the group. The rates are extremely expensive. Life teaches us hard lessons. This (rates) is one of them.'

Masud also said that the loss of the first two matches had taken away everyone's sleep, "Everyone in the team was mentally broken." The two losses were so impactful that sleep was lost. The way I turned around after that was a great thing.

Pakistan's middle order has been under the 'fire glass' for a long time. As soon as Babar Azam-Mohammed Rizwan got out quickly, the entire batting line-up was seen shaking. Or the initial shock was not overcome.

However, Pakistan opened that game against South Africa. Despite losing 4 wickets for 43 runs, the middle-order batsmen built a mountain of 185 runs with aggressive batting. The match was easily won by the brilliant bowling of the next bowlers.

Masud believes the confidence gained against the Proteas will work against Bangladesh, "South Africa were dominating at the start." But we've turned around great. The bowlers also bowled brilliantly. Even after the rain, we kept the momentum going. When you learn from mistakes, the best comes out. Everyone on the team is strong now.

Masud wants to forget the previous failures of losing Bangladesh, 'We play for ourselves, we play for the country and we play to bring glory. No need to look at who is doing what. We just have to give our best on the field. That's what we're going to do. I am going to make up for what I could not achieve before.
