The U.S. Is Victorious Against Thailand in the Volleyball Championship Round 8 Team

The United States qualified in the volleyball championship round 16 teams against Thailand 3-2 in the match played on Friday, September 22, 2015, at the Exposition Hall 2 of the Philippine Sports Stadium, Bocaue, Bulacan.

Let's Begin with Some Context

The Thai team, led by their head coach Piyapong Pue-on, has always had a reputation for being one of the strongest teams in Asia and is considered to be a formidable opponent for any team they come up against. However, when it comes to facing off against the United States, they can usually be counted on to lose. The last time that Thailand won against the US was back in 1985 and this game is shaping up to be yet another loss for them as well.

6 Things I Learned From Watching the Game

1) Even though this game was a nail-biter, it's always important to maintain your composure and not let things get too tense or out of control. 2) The Thai team has a ton of talent and they were certainly giving us a run for our money, but it wasn't enough to beat us today. 3) This game had some really impressive moments that really made me feel like these athletes are giving it their all and working hard to make their country proud.

1) It’s About How You Finish

After a very close battle between the United States and Thailand, it seemed that no team would be able to pull ahead of one other. In spite of both teams playing great volleyball, it was hard to predict who would win this match because they were so evenly matched. Eventually, however, the United States pulled ahead and won with a final score of 3-2.

2) Everyone Needs a Savior

This week, on Saturday, September 7th, 2017, the United States women's volleyball team played against Thailand in a round 16 team match. The US was victorious with a score of 3-0 because they won all three sets and received 23 points while Thailand received 0 points.

3) Don’t Be Afraid To Admit When You Are Wrong Or Upset

Don't be afraid to admit when you are wrong or upset and don't worry about being vulnerable. You'll feel better knowing that you can talk things through, and it will help your loved ones understand what's going on with you too.
If you are feeling like you need a break from talking to someone, it can be helpful to write them an email or letter explaining how they've made you feel, but if they still don't get it then don't bother engaging with them anymore.

4) Communication Makes All The Difference

It's hard to compare two teams when they are playing volleyball, but if you look at what really matters, communication is a huge factor. The United States team communicated better than the Thai team and it was because of this that they were able to come out on top. For example, when players made mistakes or missteps, their teammates would be there to help them out and continue playing as if nothing had happened.

5) Always Focus On What You Can Control (Yourself)
In addition to being a team sport, volleyball is an individual sport as well. In the end, it's important to focus on what you can control (yourself). If you're not in control of yourself, then no one else will be able to help you either.

6) Hope and Belief Helps When Others Don't Have Faith In You
When you are a woman entrepreneur, sometimes people just don't believe in you and that is something that I have had to deal with my entire career. But I am not going to let other people's lack of faith keep me from doing what I know is right for myself and my family - because hope and belief in yourself when no one else does is one of the most important aspects of success.
